Whisper in the dark    

As the storms rage and paranoid soldiers march

can you hear me whisper in the dark

 While the winds howl and you are all in fright

 and mad men are all about

I will shout but you will only hear me as a wisper in the night  

 If you should hear the whisper in the dark

 While the mothers try to hid their fear

from the ones that are so dear

they just hear the whisper in the dark if you listen hard

while the timeless beast stalks the night

with the craving it can never satisfieand never will

 when love wakes the day and fear walks the night

 this ancient beast still salks but is afraid of the light

while the storm rages about you but if you listen hard

you might just hear me shouting a whisper in the dark
